Blush Flower Doily Crochet Pattern



Hello Everyone! πŸ˜‰
Today i'm here to share my Blush Flower Doily chrochet pattern. This doily pattern will work well for those who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches. It is made in only 12 rounds using sport weight 100% cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hookYou can use any type of yarn or thread of your choice.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 32 cm (12.6 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m. Color - 69 (blush). 
       30 grams (96 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.00 mm crochet hook
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together
trc5(6)tog - 5 or 6 treble crochet closed together

ch3picotch3, insert your hook into 3rd ch from hook, yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

[ ]* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

( )* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated. 





Instructions:

Ch4, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 8sc into ring. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch6 (counts as 1dc + ch3),
(1dc into next sc st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch6.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 3dc into same ch3 space, ch2,
(skip next dc st., 4dc into next ch3 space, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 4: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 2 dc sts, 2dc into next dc st., ch4,
(skip next ch2, 2dc into next dc st., 1dc into next 2 dc sts, 2dc into next dc st., ch4)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 5: ch3 (counts as 1trc of trc6tog), trc5tog over next 5 dc sts, ch5, 1dc into next ch4 space, ch5,
(trc6tog over next 6 dc sts, ch5, 1dc into next ch4 space, ch5)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first trc5tog.

Round 6: sl st. into next ch5 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 4dc into same ch5 space, ch1,
(5dc into next ch5 space, ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 7: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next 4 dc sts, 3dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next 5 dc sts, ch3,
(skip next ch1, 1dc into next 5 dc sts, 3dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next 5 dc sts, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.


Round 8: sl st. into next 2 dc sts, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next 8 dc sts, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, (1dc, ch3, 1dc) into next ch3 space, ch3,
(skip next 2 dc sts, 1dc into next 9 dc sts, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, (1dc, ch3, 1dc) into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 9: sl st. into next 2 dc sts, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next 4 dc sts, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, skip next ch3, skip next dc st., 7dc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(skip next dc st., skip next ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, 1dc into next 5 dc sts, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, skip next ch3, skip next dc st., 7dc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 10: sl st. into next dc st., ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next 2 dc sts, ch2, skip next dc st., skip next ch3, [1trc into next dc st., ch2]* repeat 7 times,
(skip next ch3, skip next dc st., 1dc into next 3 dc sts, ch2, skip next dc st., skip next ch3, [1trc into next dc st., ch2]* repeat 7 times)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 11: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next 2 dc sts, ch2, skip next ch2, skip next trc st., dc3tog into next ch2 space, [ch4, skip next trc st., dc3tog into next ch2 space]* repeat 5 times, ch2,
(skip next trc st., skip next ch2, 1dc into next 3 dc sts, ch2, skip next ch2, skip next trc st., dc3tog into next ch2 space, [ch4, skip next trc st., dc3tog into next ch2 space]* repeat 5 times, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 12: ch2 (counts as 1dc of dc3tog), dc2tog over next 2 dc sts, ch1, skip next ch2, [skip next dc3tog st., (dc2tog, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc2tog, ch1) into next ch4 space]* repeat 5 times,
(skip next dc3tog st., skip next ch2, dc3tog over next 3 dc sts, ch1, skip next ch2, [skip next dc3tog st., (dc2tog, ch2, ch3picot, ch2, dc2tog, ch1) into next ch4 space]* repeat 5 times)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc2tog.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Rose Sienna Shawl - Free Crochet Pattern


Hello Everyone!πŸ™‚
This time I would like to share my Rose Sienna Triangle Shawl crochet pattern with you. This simple yet beautiful lightweight triangle shawl is worked from the top down, in back and forth rows. To make this item, you should be familiar with basic crochet stitches and terminology. All you need to start is one skein of your favourite fingering weight gradient cake yarn (I used YarnArt Flowers) and a 4 mm crochet hook.

Written Pattern

Finished Size: Height - 77 cm (30,3 in), Width - 154 cm (60,6 in).
You can adjust the size of the shawl by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
1 pattern repeat (Row 3 - 18) - approx 16 cm (6,3 in). I made a total of 3 pattern repeats.

Gauge: 10 stitches x 4 rows = 5cm x 5cm (2’’ x 2’’) in double crochet.


Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight yarn, size 1 - super fineI used YarnArt Flowers (250g/ 1000m) 55% cotton, 45% acrylic yarn in color 2791 skein of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 4.0 mm (US size G/6) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or a latch hook.




  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. / sts - stitch / stitches
    ch - chain
    sc - single crochet

    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet
    dc3tog - 3 double crochet closed together

    ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into center of the base stitch, yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

    ()* – repeat the instructions between the brackets as directed.






    PATTERN NOTES:

    • The shawl is worked from the top down, in back and forth rows.
    • Beginning (turning) chains count as stitches – ch3 counts as 1dc, ch4 counts as 1dc + ch1, ch5 counts as 1trc + ch1.

    • Center ch2 is not included into stitch count at the end of each row.
