Crochet Flower Doily - Easy Pattern

I have an easy Flower Doily crochet pattern for you today.
It's suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic stitches. All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 25 cm (10 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy.

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised cotton yarn. 34 grams ( 85 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

()*- repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.





Instructions:

Start with ch4, sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 8sc into ring.
Join with a sl st. into first sc. (8 sts)

Round 2: ch6 (counts as 1dc + ch3),
(1dc into next st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch6.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc into same ch3 space, ch4,
(3dc into next ch3 space, ch4)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.


Round 4: sl st. into next st., ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., skip next st., 9dc into next ch4 space,
(skip next st., 1sc into next st., skip next st., 9dc into next ch4 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 5: sl st. into next 5 sts, ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., ch8,
(skip next 9 sts, 1sc into next st., ch8)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 6: ch2 (doesn't count as a st.), 1dc into same st., 9dc into next ch8 space,
(1dc into next st., 9dc into next ch8 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc. (80 sts)

Round 7: ch2 (doesn't count as a st.), 2dc into same st., 1dc into each of next 9 sts,
(2dc into next st., 1dc into each of next 9 sts)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc. (88 sts)

Round 8: ch2 (doesn't count as a st.), 2dc into same st., 1dc into each of next 10 sts,
(2dc into next st., 1dc into each of next 10 sts)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc. (96 sts)

Round 9: ch2 (doesn't count as a st.), 2dc into same st., 1dc into each of next 11 sts,

Round 10: ch2 (doesn't count as a st.), 2dc into same st., 1dc into each of next 12 sts,

Round 11: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st.,

Round 12: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch3 + 1dc) space of previous round,

Join with ch4 + 1dc into first sc to make last ch7.

Round 13: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch4 + 1dc) space of previous round, ch5,
(1sc into next ch7 space, ch5, 1sc into same ch7 space, ch5)* repeat 27 times around,
1sc into next ch7 space, ch5. Join with a sl st. into first sc.


Round 14: sl st. into next 3 ch sts of next ch5, ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same ch5 space, 7dc into next ch5 space,
(1sc into next ch5 space, 7dc into next ch5 space)* repeat 27 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Spring Reverie Triangle Shawl - Crochet Pattern



Hi Everyone!πŸ™‚

Today I would like to introduce you to my Spring Reverie ShawlThis simple yet beautiful lightweight triangle shawl is worked from the top down, in back and forth rows. To make this item, you should be familiar with basic crochet stitches and terminology. All you need to start is one skein of your favourite fingering weight gradient yarn (I used YarnArt Flowers) and a 4 mm crochet hook.

Written Pattern

Finished Size: Height - 79 cm (31,1 in), Width - 164 cm (64,5 in).
You can adjust the size of the shawl by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
1 pattern repeat (Row 5 - 14) - approx 10 cm (4 in). I made a total of 5 pattern repeats.

Gauge: 10 stitches x 5 rows = 5cm x 5cm (2’’ x 2’’) in double crochet.


Skill Level: Easy

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight yarn, size 1 - super fineI used YarnArt Flowers (250g/ 1000m) 55% cotton, 45% acrylic yarn in color 2681 skein of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 4.0 mm (US size G/6) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or a latch hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. / sts - stitch / stitches
    ch - chain
    sc - single crochet

    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet

    ()* – repeat the instructions between the brackets as directed.

    •  The shawl is worked from the top down, in back and forth rows.
