Spring Inspired Lace Doily Free Crochet Pattern

I am super excited to share my Spring Inspired Lace Doily crochet pattern with you. This cute doily would make a lovely addition to your home decor.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 26 cm (10.2 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 5329 (light green). 22 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
trc3(4)tog - 3 or 4 treble crochet closed together

ch3picotch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into the first ch), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.




Instructions:

Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 8sc into the ring. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, (1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 7 times around.

Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.



Round 3: sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 3dc into that same ch2 space, ch1,
(4dc into next ch2 space, ch1)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 4: ch4 (counts as a trc), trc3tog over next 3 sts, ch9,
(skip ch1, trc4tog over next 4 sts, ch9)* repeat 7 times around. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the trc3tog.

Round 5: sl st. into next ch9 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 8dc into that same ch9 space, ch2,
(9dc into next ch9 space, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 6: sl st. into next st., ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 6 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space, ch2,
(skip 1st., 1dc into next 7 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 7: sl st. into next st., ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 2 sts, ch3picot, 1dc into next 2 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space,
(ch2, skip 1st., 1dc into next 3 sts, ch3picot, 1dc into next 2 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space, ch2, 1dc into next ch2 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with 1hdc on top of the ch3.

Round 8: ch1, 1sc into 1hdc space of the previous round, ch10, 1sc into next ch2 space, ch5, 1sc into next ch2 space,
(ch5, 1sc into next ch2 space, ch10, 1sc into next ch2 space, ch5, 1sc into next ch2 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 9: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 13dc into next ch10 space, 1sc into next ch5 space,
(ch5, 1sc into next ch5 space, 13dc into next ch10 space, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 10: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch3, skip 3 sts, 1dc into next st., (ch2, ch3picot, ch2, skip 1 st., 1dc into next st.)* repeat 4 times, ch3,
(1sc into next ch5 space, ch3, skip 3 sts, 1dc into next st., (ch2, ch3picot, ch2, skip 1 st., 1dc into next st.)* repeat 4 times, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Round Picot Doily Coaster - Easy Pattern

Today i have a simple yet elegant Round Crochet Picot Doily Coaster pattern to share with you. It is made in only 7 rounds using the cotton yarn. You can crochet this in any type of yarn or thread.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily coaster measures approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella yarn in the colorway 619 (coral). 8 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

st. - stitch
ch - chain

Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 5: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, 
(ch3, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st.)* repeat 29 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1hdc into first sc.

Round 6: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space,
(ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch5, 1sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 9 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1hdc into first sc.

Round 7: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 +1hdc) space of the previous round, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, (5dc, ch4picot, 5dc) into next ch5 space,
(1sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, (5dc, ch4picot, 5dc) into next ch5 space)* repeat 9 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
