Tangerine Brilliance Doily - Free Crochet Pattern

Today I have a lovely crochet Tangerine Brilliance Doily pattern to share with you. It's suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 27 cm (10.6 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

Materials Used:
  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella yarn in the colorway 487 (orange). 24 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet



INSTRUCTIONS

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into the first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 16sc into the ring. Join with a sl st. into the first sc.

Round 2: ch1, 1sc into same st., (ch4, skip 1 st., 1sc)* repeat 7 times around.  Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc. 



Round 3 ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into (ch1 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 
((2dc, ch3, 2dc) into ch4 space)* repeat 7 times around.  
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 4 1 sl st. into next st., 1 sl st. into ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, ch3, 3dc) into that same ch3 space, 
((3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next ch3 space)* repeat 7 times around.  
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 5 2 sl st. into next 2 st., 1 sl st. into ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, ch3, 3dc) into that same ch3 space, ch2, 
((3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next ch3 space, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.  
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 6 ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into next 2 st., 4dc into ch3 space, 3dc into next 3 st., 2dc into ch2 space, 
(3dc into next 3 st., 4dc into next ch3 space, 3dc into next 3 st., 2dc into next ch2 space)* repeat 7 times around. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 7 - 8 ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into each st. around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 9 ch4 (counts as a trc), ch2, 1trc into same st., ch1, 
(skip 2 st., (1trc, ch2, 1trc) into next st., ch1)* repeat 31 times around. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4. 



Round 101 sl st. into ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into that same ch2 space, ch1, 
((2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch2 space, ch1)* repeat 31 times around. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 

Round 111 sl st. into next st., 1 sl st. into ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (3dc, ch3, 4dc) into that same ch3 space, 1sc into ch1 space, 
((4dc, ch3, 4dc) into next ch3 space, 1sc into next ch1 space)* repeat 31 times around. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3. 
Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Floral Petals Doily - Free Crochet Pattern

Today i would like to introduce you to my Floral Petals Doily.
All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice.
This pattern is suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight mercerized 100% cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 6313 (pink). 33 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.




Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
ch - chain stitch
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet
dc3(4)tog - 3 or 4 double crochet closed together
trc3(4)tog - 3 or 4 treble crochet closed together
dtrc3(4)tog - 3 or 4 double treble crochet closed together






Instructions:

Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into the first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15dc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, (1dc, ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into ch1 space,
(1dc into next st., 2dc into next ch1 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.


Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 
(skip 1 st., 1dc, ch2)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 5: 1 sl st. into ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), dc3tog into that same ch2 space, ch3,
(dc4tog into next ch2 space, ch3)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the dc3tog.

Round 6: 1 sl st. into ch3 space, ch4 (counts as a trc), trc3tog into that same ch3 space,
(ch5, trc4tog into next ch3 space)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1trc on top of the trc3tog.

Round 7: ch5 (counts as a dtrc), dtrc3tog into (ch1 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch7,
(dtrc4tog into ch5 space, ch7)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the dtrc3tog.

Round 8: 2 sl st. into ch7 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 6dc into that same ch7 space,
7dc into each ch7 space around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 9: ch1, 1sc into the same st., ch5, skip 1 st., 1sc, ch7, skip 1 st., 1sc, ch5, skip 1 st., 1sc,
(1sc, ch5, skip 1 st., 1sc, ch7, skip 1 st., 1sc, ch5, skip 1 st., 1sc)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. into the first sc.



Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
