Eight Point Doily Free Crochet Pattern

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approx. 23 cm (9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo yarn in the colorway 11526 (Pink Coral).18 grams (54 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15 dc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1,
(1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.



Round 3: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 1dc into that same ch1 space.
((1dc, ch1, 1dc) into next ch1 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 4: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 1dc into that same ch1 space,
((1dc, ch2, 1dc) into next ch1 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 5: sl st. into next ch2 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3, 1dc into that same ch2 space,
((1dc, ch3, 1dc) into next ch2 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 6: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (1dc, ch3, 2dc) into that same ch3 space,
((2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch3 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 7: sl st. into next st., 2 sl st. into next ch3 space, ch1, 1sc into that same ch3 space.
(ch7, 1sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with ch3 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 8: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch9,
(1sc into next ch7 space, ch9)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into  first sc.

Round 9: sl st. into next ch9 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (5dc, ch5, 6dc) into that same ch9 space, 7sc into next ch9 space,
((6dc, ch5, 6dc) into next ch9 space, 7sc into next ch9 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 10: sl st. into next st., ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 4 sts, 2dc into next ch5 space, ch3, 2dc into that same ch5 space, 1dc into next 5 sts, ch2, skip 4 sts, 1sc into next st., ch2,
(skip 4 sts, 1dc into next 5 sts, 2dc into next ch5 space, ch3, 2dc into that same ch5 space, 1dc into next 5 sts, ch2, skip 4 sts, 1sc into next st., ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Crochet Floral Doily Coaster Free Pattern

Today i am sharing the Floral Doily Coaster crochet pattern with you.
This pattern will work very well for those who are beginners at crocheting doilies and coasters. This  easy doily pattern is worked using the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approx. 16 cm (6.3 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella yarn in the colorway 28 (Rose). 8 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain 
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

(skip 1 st., 1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 31 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 7: ch3 (counts as a dc),

Join with ch1 + 1hdc on top of the ch3.

Round 8: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, 7dc into next ch3 space,

Pineapple Doily Free Crochet Pattern

Today i have another crochet doily pattern to share with you all, it's the Pineapple Doily.
The pattern is simple and i've included the written pattern & video tutorial to help you along the way.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approx. 24 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight 100% cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella cotton yarn in the colorway 487 (orange). 14 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
dc2tog - 2 double crochet closed together
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet

ch3(4)picot - ch3(4), insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.


Instructions:

Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into the ring, 
(ch4, dc2tog)* repeat 7 times into the ring.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first dc.

Round 2: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1dc) space of the previous round,
(ch6, 1sc into next ch4 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc.



Round 3: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1trc) space of the previous round,
(ch7, 1sc into next ch6 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dtrc into first sc.

Round 4: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dtrc) space of the previous round, ch3picot, 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1dtrc) space,
(ch7, (1sc, ch3picot, 1sc) into next ch7 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch3 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 5: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch9,
(1sc into next ch7 space, ch9)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 6: 2sl st. into next ch9, ch1, 9sc into that same ch9 space,
(ch4, 9sc into next ch9 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 7: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch2, 1sc into next st., (ch4, skip 1st., 1sc into next st.)* 4 times,
