Vibrant Summer Doily Crochet Pattern


Hi Everyone! 😊

Vibrant Summer Doily is another crochet pattern i have been wanting to post on here for the longest time. This pattern is suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:


Size: The doily measures approx. 26 cm (10.2 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

Materials Used:


  • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 621 (green acid). 24 grams (87 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dc2tog - 2 double crochet closed together
trc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 treble crochet closed together

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch8, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 23dc into the ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 2: ch4 (counts as a trc), trc2tog over next 2 dc sts, ch5,
(trc3tog over next 3 dc sts, ch5)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the first trc2tog.

Round 3: sl st. into next 2 ch sts of next ch5, ch3 (counts as a dc), 3dc into that same ch5 space, ch5,
(4dc into next ch5 space, ch5)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 3 dc sts, 2dc into next ch5 space, ch4,
(2dc into same ch5 space, 1dc into next 4 dc sts, 2dc into next ch5 space, ch4)* repeat 7 times around.
2dc into same ch5 space. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 5 dc sts, 1dc into next ch4 space, ch3,
(1dc into same ch4 space, 1dc into next 8 dc sts, 1dc into next ch4 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
1dc into same ch4 space, 1dc into next 2 dc sts. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 6: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next dc 6 sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3,
(1dc into next 10 dc sts, ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
1dc into next 3 dc sts. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 7: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 5 dc sts, ch3, skip next dc st., 1dc into next sc st., ch2, 1dc into same sc st., ch3,
(skip next dc st., 1dc into next 8 dc sts, ch3, skip next dc st., (1dc, ch2, 1dc) into next sc st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Skip next dc st., 1dc into next 2 dc sts. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 8: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 4 dc sts, ch3, skip next ch3, 7trc into next ch2 space, ch3,
(skip next ch3, skip next dc st., 1dc into next 6 dc sts, ch3, skip next ch3, 7trc into next ch2 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Skip next ch3, skip next dc st., 1dc into next dc st. Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.



Round 9: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next 3 dc sts, ch3, skip next dc st., (1dc, ch1)* repeat into each of next 6 trc sts, 1dc into next trc st., ch3,
(skip next dc st., 1dc into next 4 dc sts, ch3, skip next dc st., (1dc, ch1)* repeat into each of next 6 trc sts, 1dc into next trc st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.

Round 10: sl st. into next dc st, ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into next dc st., ch3, skip next ch3, (trc3tog, ch3)* repeat into each of next 6 ch1 spaces, 
(skip next ch3, skip next dc st., dc2tog over next 2 dc sts, ch3, skip next ch3, (trc3tog, ch3)* repeat into each of next 6 ch1 spaces)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dc.

Round 11: sl st. into next 2 ch sts of next ch3, ch1, 1sc into that same ch3 space, (ch5, 1sc)* repeat into each of next 6 ch3 spaces, ch3,
(1sc into next ch3 space, (ch5, 1sc)* repeat into each of next 6 ch3 spaces, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Spring Flower Doily Crochet Pattern


Hello Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today i would like to introduce you to my Spring Flower Doily crochet pattern.
This doily will be an adorable decoration for your home. It's made in 13 rounds using pink cotton yarn but you can make it in any color to suit your taste.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Intermediate



Materials Used:
  • Sport weight mercerized 100% cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 6313 (pink). 33 grams (83 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):


st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet
dc2(3, 4)tog - 2, 3 or 4 double crochet closed together
dtrc4(5)tog - 4 or 5 double treble crochet closed together

Instructions:

Today i have the Coral Dreams Doily crochet pattern to share with you. It is made in only 12 rounds using mercerised cotton yarn. This doily pattern will work well for those who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches.
This pattern can be also turned into a rug by using a thick yarn and a large crochet hook.
