Cherry Blossom Coaster Crochet Pattern

Hello Everyone!🙂

I have a lovely Cherry Blossom Coaster crochet pattern for you today.
This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. It's suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook. You can go up in yarn and hook size to make a bigger coaster.

You will find the written pattern and a video tutorial below.

Have a wonderful day and happy crocheting!🙂

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approx. 15 cm (5.9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in the colorway 11242 (light pink). 12 grams (36 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet
    dc4(5)tog - 4 or 5 double crochet closed together

dc4(5)tog – 4(5) double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 3(4) more times. Now you have 5(6) loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5(6) loops.
