Shades Of Green Crochet Doily - Easy Free Pattern

Today i am sharing with you an easy pattern and video tutorial on how to crochet the Shades Of Green Doily.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures 24cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. (I used Alize Bella Batik Design in the colorway 2131) 15 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
sl st. - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch4, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 8sc into the ring. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1,
(ch4, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1hdc into first sc.


Round 3: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1hdc) space of the previous round,
(ch5, 1sc into ch4 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into the first sc.

Round 4: ch1, 1sc into (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round,
(ch6, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), (2dc, ch2, 3dc) into that (ch2 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch3,
((3dc, ch2, 3dc) into next ch6 space, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 6: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch3 (counts as a dc), ch7, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch7,
(1dc into next ch2 space, ch7, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch7)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 7: sl st. into next ch7 space, ch1, 9sc into that same ch7 space,
9sc into each ch7 space around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 8: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch3, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st.,
(ch7, skip 6 sts, 1sc into next st., ch3, skip 1st., 1sc into next st.)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with ch3 + 1trc into  first sc.

Round 9: ch1, 1sc into that (ch3 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch9,
(1sc into next ch7 space, ch9)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 10: sl st. into next ch9 space, ch1, 11sc into that same ch9 space,
11sc into each ch9 space around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 11: sl st. into next 4 sts, ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch3, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st.,
(ch9, skip 8 sts, 1sc into next st., ch3, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st.)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with ch4 + 1dtrc into first sc.


Round 12: ch1, 1sc into that (ch4 + 1dtrc) space of the previous round, ch11,
(1sc into next ch9 space, ch11)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 13: sl st. into next ch11 space, ch2 (counts as a hdc), 14hdc into that same ch11 space,
15hdc into each ch11 space around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch2.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
