Crochet Rose Flower Doily - Easy Free Pattern

Today  i want to share my Rose Flower Doily pattern with you.
I think this pattern might work very well for those who are beginners at crocheting doilies.

Written Pattern:

Size:  The doily measures approximately 17 cm (6.7 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Cotton sport weight yarn
  • 3mm crochet hook
  • Scissors
  • Yarn Needle or Latch Hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
sl st. - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

Instructions:

Start with a ch4, join with a sl st. into  first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 8sc into the ring. Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, 
(ch5, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 3: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch5,
(1sc into next ch5 space, ch5)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.


Round 4: sl st. into next ch5 space, ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into that same ch5 space,
((1sc, 1hdc, 3dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next ch5 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 5: sl st. into next 3 sts, ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch6,
(skip 6 sts, 1sc into next st., ch6)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into the first sc.

Round 6: sl st. into next ch6 space, ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 5dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into that same ch6 space,
((1sc, 1hdc, 5dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next ch6 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 7: sl st. into next 4 sts, ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch8,
(skip 8 sts, 1sc into next st., ch8)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 8: sl st. into next ch8 space, ch1, (1sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into that same ch8 space,
((1sc, 1hdc, 7dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next ch8 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 9: sl st. into next 4 sts, ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, 1sc into next 2 sts, ch9,
(skip 8 sts, 1sc into next 3 sts, ch9)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 10:  sl st. into next 2 sts, (1sc, 1hdc, 9dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next ch9 space,
(sl st. into next 3 sts, (1sc, 1hdc, 9dc, 1hdc, 1sc) into next ch9 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st into first st.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
