Crochet Lace Coaster Free Pattern



Crochet coasters are some of the easiest projects to make. Now i have the Lace Coaster free crochet pattern so you can make your own coasters too.
This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. 
You can go up in yarn and hook size to crochet a bigger coaster.
Below you will find a video tutorial for the coaster as well as the written instructions.

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approximately 13cm (5.1 inches) in diameter.
Skill Level: Easy 

Materials Used:
  • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. 6 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn Needle or Latch Hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
sl st. - slip stitch
ch - chain
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

Instructions:

Start with a ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch1, 16sc into the ring. 
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 
(1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 3: ch4 (counts as a trc), ch2,
(1trc into next st., ch2)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch4.



Round 4: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch5,
(1sc into next st.(trc), ch5)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into the first sc.

Round 5: sl st. into next ch5 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), (3dc, ch1, 4dc) into that same ch5 space, 1sc into next ch5 space,
((4dc, ch1, 4dc) into next ch5 space, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

Round 6: ch1, 1sc into the base of that ch1, ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next st., ch3,
(skip 1 st., 1sc into next st., ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next st., ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 7: sl st. into next ch5 space, ch1, 5sc into that same ch5 space, sl st. into next st. (sc), 5sc into next ch5 space, sl st. into next st. (sc), 3sc into next ch3 space,
(sl st. into next st. (sc), 5sc into ch5 space, sl st. into next st. (sc), 5sc into next ch5 space, sl st. into next st. (sc), 3sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 7 times around. sl st. into next st.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
