Berry Mousse Doily Placemat Crochet Pattern

Hi Everyone! 🙂
This time I am sharing the Berry Mouse Doily Placemat crochet pattern with you.
It's made in 13 rounds using sport weight mercerised 100% cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook. You can go up in yarn and hook size to make a bigger doily placemat.

Feel free to scroll down for a free written pattern and a video tutorial.

Hope you enjoy!
Happy Crocheting! 😊

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily placemat measures approximately 29 cm (11.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 5313 (dusty pink). 40 grams (100 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.0 mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

trc4tog - 4 treble crochet closed together - (yarn over twice, insert the hook into indicated st. / ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 3 more times. Now you have 5 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.
