Peachy Peaks Doily - Free Crochet Pattern



Hello everyone!🙂 

This time I am sharing the Peachy Peaks Doily crochet pattern with you. If you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 30 cm (11.8 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m in the colorway 12 (peach). 30 grams (96 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into first ch made (into 3rd ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch5, sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15dc into ring.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (16 sts)

Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st.,
2dc into each of next 15 sts around.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (32 sts)

Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next st.,
(2dc into next st., 1dc into next st.)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (48 sts)

Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 
(skip next st., 1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3,
(1dc into next dc st., ch3)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 6: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch4,
(1dc into next dc st., ch4)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 7: sl st. into next ch4 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 3dc into same ch4 space,
4dc into each of next 23 ch4 spaces.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (96 sts)

Round 8: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same st., 1dc into next 3 sts,
(2dc into next st., 1dc into next 3 sts)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (120 sts)

Round 9: ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into each st.around.
Join with a sl st. on top of beginning ch3. (120 sts)

Round 10: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2, 
(skip next st., 1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 59 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch at the beginning of the round.

Round 11: ch1, 1sc into same st., 
(ch3, 1sc into next dc st.)* repeat 59 times around.
Join with 1dc into first sc at the beginning of the round to make last ch3.

Round 12: ch1, 1sc into that last 1dc (ch3) space of the previous round,
(ch6, skip next ch3, 1sc into next ch3 space)* repeat 29 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc at the beginning of the round to make last ch6.

Round 13: ch1, 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1trc) space of the previous round, ch2, (1trc, ch1)* repeat 6 times into next ch6 space, 1trc into same ch6 space, ch2,
(1sc into next ch6 space, ch2, (1trc, ch1)* repeat 6 times into next ch6 space, 1trc into same ch6 space, ch2)* repeat 14 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc at the beginning of the round.

Round 14: (ch2, 1sc into next trc st., (ch1, ch3picot, ch1, 1sc into next trc st.)* repeat 6 times, ch2, sl st. into next sc st.)* repeat 15 times around.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.
