Little Flower Doily Free Crochet Pattern

This time I am sharing the Little Flower Doily crochet pattern with you. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern
Size: The doily measures approx. 23 cm (9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:


  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in color 11526 (Pink Coral) . 20 grams (60 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet
    dc2(3)tog - 2 or 3 double crochet closed together
    trc3tog - 3 treble crochet closed together

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

    Instructions


    Start with ch6, sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

    Round 1: ch2, dc2tog into ring (first dc3tog made),
    (ch4, dc3tog into ring)* repeat 7 times around.
    Join with ch2 + 1hdc on top of the first dc3tog to make last ch4.

    Round 2: ch1, 1sc into (ch2 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, ch3, 1sc into same ch space, 
    (1sc, ch3, 1sc, ch5, 1sc, ch3, 1sc)* repeat into each of next 7 ch4 spaces around.
    (1sc, ch3, 1sc) into next ch space, join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc to make last ch5.

    Round 3: ch1, 1sc into (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch7,
    (skip next ch3, skip next ch3, 1sc into next ch5 space, ch7)* repeat 7 times around.
    Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Round 4: sl st. into next ch7 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 8dc into same ch7 space,
    9dc into each of next 7 ch7 spaces.
    Join with a sl st. on top of the beginning ch3.


    Round 5: ch2, 1dc into next st. (first dc2tog made), 1dc into next 5 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3,
    (dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 5 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3)* repeat 7 times around.
    Join with a sl st. into first dc.

    Round 6: ch2, 1dc into next st. (first dc2tog made), 1dc into next 3 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch2, 1dc into same ch3 space, ch2,
    (dc2tog over next 2 sts, 1dc into next 3 sts, dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch2, 1dc into next ch3 space, ch2, 1dc into same ch3 space, ch2)* repeat 7 times around.
    Join with a sl st. into first dc.

    Round 7: ch2, 1dc into next st. (first dc2tog made), 1dc into next st., dc2tog over next 2 sts, ch3, skip next ch2, 7dc into next ch2 space, ch3,

    Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

    Seashells Doily Crochet Pattern

    Today i have the Seashells Doily crochet pattern to share with you.

    Size: The doily measures approx. 29 cm (11.4 inches) in diameter.

    Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

    Materials Used:


  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in color 11244 (blue). 26 grams (78 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet

    trc2tog
    - 2 treble crochet closed together -
     (
    yarn over twice, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on  hook)* repeat 1 more time. Now you have 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops.

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn. 32 grams (96 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet
    dc4(5)tog - 4 or 5 double crochet closed together

    dc4tog – 4 double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 3 more times. Now you have 5 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops. 
    dc5tog – 5 double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 4 more times. Now you have 6 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.

    Instructions:

    Note that the doily can curl up at some points of making it. Don't worry, it will flatten back down when further rounds are done!

    Aurora Doily Placemat - Free Crochet Pattern

    Today i would like to introduce you to my Aurora Doily Placemat crochet pattern. This would be a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion.

    • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 488 (yellow). 25 grams (90 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):
