Charming Shells Doily - Free Crochet Pattern



Hello everyone! πŸ™‚
I am very excited to introduce you to the Charming Shells Doily crochet pattern. This is definitely one of my favorites.πŸ₯°
This pattern is suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approx. 28 cm (11 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:




  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo yarn in the colorway 11526 (Pink Coral). 24 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.



  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet 

    ch3picot -  ch3, insert the hook into first ch (into 3rd ch from the hook), yarn over, pull the yarn through all loops on hook. 

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.




    Instructions:

    Start with ch6, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. 
    Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

    Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 23dc into the ring. 
    Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

    Round 2: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1,
    (1dc into next st., ch1)* repeat 23 times around. 
    Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.


    Round 3: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch2,
    (skip ch1, 1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 23 times around. 

    Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.

    Round 4: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3,
    (skip ch2, 1dc into next st., ch3)* repeat 23 times around. 
    Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.


    Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), 
    (ch3, skip ch3, 1dc into next st.)* repeat 23 times around.
    Join with ch1 + 1hdc on top of the ch3.

    Round 6: ch1, 1sc into that (ch1 + 1hdc) space of the previous round, 4dc into next ch3 space, ch1, 4dc into that same ch3 space,
    (1sc into next ch3 space, 4dc into next ch3 space, ch1, 4dc into that same ch3 space)* repeat 11 times around. 
    Join with a sl st. into first sc.

    Round 7: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3, 1dc into same st., ch5, 1sc into next ch1 space,
    (ch5, skip 4 sts, 1dc into next st., ch3, 1dc into that same st., ch5, 1sc into next ch1 space)* repeat 11 times around. 
    Join with ch2 + 1dc on top of the ch3.

    Round 8: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 4dc into next ch3 space, ch1, 4dc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next ch5 space,
    (ch5, 1sc into next ch5 space, 4dc into next ch3 space, ch1, 4dc into that same ch3 space, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 11 times around. 
    Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

    Round 9: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch3, 1dc into same st., ch5, 1sc into next ch1 space,

    Join with ch2 + 1dc on top of the ch3.

    Round 10: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, 10trc into next ch3 space, 1sc into next ch5 space,
    (ch5, 1sc into next ch5 space, 10trc into next ch3 space, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 11 times around. 
    Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

    Round 11: ch1, 1sc into that (ch2 + 1dc) space of the previous round, ch5, skip 2 sts, 1sc into next st., ch4, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st., ch3, ch3picot, ch3, skip 2 sts, 1sc into next st., ch4, skip 1 st., 1sc into next st., ch5,

    Crochet Star Coaster - Free Pattern

    I hope you're having a great week so far!

    I've got an easy Star Coaster crochet pattern for you today. It uses basic crochet stitches and only consists of 5 rounds. 
    These cute star shaped coasters will be the perfect way to dress up your coffee table. They will also look great anywhere in your home.

    Size: The coaster measures approx. 14 cm (5.5 inches) in diameter.

    Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.

    Materials Used:

    • Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla yarn in the colorway 5309. 7 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):
    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet

    Crochet Popcorn Stitch Doily - Free Pattern


    Hi everyone!πŸ™‚
    I have a lovely Popcorn Stitch Doily crochet pattern for you today. 
    This crochet pattern uses popcorn stitches which give the doily a lovely texture look. 
    This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. You can also use the pattern worked with larger crochet hook and yarn to create a rug.

    Written Pattern:

    Size: The doily measures approximately 24 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.

    Skill Level: Intermediate

    Materials Used:
    • Fingering weight cotton yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella Design Batik yarn in the colorway 1815. 22 grams of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3.0mm crochet hook
    • Scissors
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


    Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    sl st. - slip stitch
    ch - chain
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet

    dc3(4)popcorn  3(4) double crochet popcorn stitch – work 3(4)dc into same stitch. Drop loop from the hook, insert your hook from front to back into the first dc. Place dropped loop on the hook and pull through stitch.

    Vivid Lace Doily - Free Crochet Pattern

    This time i came up with a crochet Vivid Lace Doily pattern. It is made in only 8 rounds using the cotton yarn. You can crochet this in any type of yarn or thread.

    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet

    Join the new yarn to the second ch1 space of the previous round (i joined the yarn with a simple knot).
    Or, continue with the same yarn by working a sl st. back into last ch1 space of Round 9.




    Round 10: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch1, 1dc into that same ch1 space, ch2, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch2,
    (1 V stitch  into next ch1 space, ch2, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch2)* repeat 23 times around.
    Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3.


    Round 11: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into that same ch1 space, ch2, 2dc into that same ch1 space, ch1,
