Size: The doily measures approx. 30 cm (11.8 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn. 32 grams (96 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet
    trc - treble crochet
    dc4(5)tog - 4 or 5 double crochet closed together

dc4tog – 4 double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 3 more times. Now you have 5 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 5 loops.
dc5tog – 5 double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 4 more times. Now you have 6 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 6 loops.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.
