Crochet Round Lace Doily Pattern



Hi Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today i have a Round Lace Doily crochet pattern to share with you. It is made in only 9 rounds using 100% cotton yarn. This pattern is suitable for those who are familiar with the basic stitches. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 24 cm (9.4 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn weight/length: 50 g = approx 160 m in the colorway 50 (mint). 17 grams (55 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.
Abbreviations (US terms):

st. - stitch
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet
dtrc - double treble crochet

dtrc2tog - 2 double treble crochet closed together - (yarn over 3 times, insert the hook into indicated st., yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 1 more time. Now you have 3 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3 loops. 

ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into first ch made (into 3rd ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.




Instructions:

Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as a dc), 15dc into ring. 
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 (into 3rd ch).

Round 2: ch4 (counts as 1 dtrc of dtrc2tog), 1dtrc into same st. - first dtrc2tog made, ch3,
(dtrc2tog into next dc st., ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first dtrc.

Round 3: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 3dc into same ch3 space,
4dc into each of next 15 ch3 spaces around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 (into 3rd ch).

Round 4: ch1, 1sc into same st., ch3picot, 1sc into next dc st., 
(ch4, skip next 2 dc sts, 1sc into next dc st., ch3picot, 1sc into next dc st.)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 5: ch3 (counts as a dc), ch7,
(skip next sc st., skip next ch3picot, skip next sc st., 1dc into next ch4 space, ch7)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch.

Round 6: ch4 (counts a s a trc), ch3, 1trc into same st., ch3, 1sc into next ch7 space, ch3,
((1trc, ch3, 1trc) into next dc st., ch3, 1sc into next ch7 space, ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 4th ch.

Round 7: sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 1dc into same ch3 space, ch3, 2dc into same ch3 space, ch5,
(skip next trc st, skip next ch3, skip next sc st., skip next ch3, skip next trc st., (2dc, ch3, 2dc) into next ch3 space, ch5)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 (into 3rd ch).

Round 8: sl st. into next dc st., sl st. into next ch3 space, ch3 (counts as a dc), 2dc into same ch3 space, ch3, 3dc into same ch3 space, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, 1sc into next ch5 space, ch3,
(skip next 2 dc sts, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next ch3 space, ch3, skip next 2 dc sts, 1sc into next ch5 space, ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. on top of the ch3 (into 3rd ch).

Round 9: ch1, 1sc into same st., sc into next 2 dc sts, 2sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 2sc into same ch3 space, sc into next 3 dc sts, ch3, ch3picot, ch3,
(skip next ch3, skip next sc st., skip next ch3, sc into next 3 dc sts, 2sc into next ch3 space, ch3, 2sc into same ch3 space, sc into next 3 dc sts, ch3, ch3picot, ch3)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Crochet Puff Snowflake Ornament Motif


Hello Everyone! πŸ˜‰
Here's another crochet Puff Snowflake Ornament pattern for you. The snowflakes are worked up in 5 rounds using sport weight cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook.  Use them as decorations anywhere in your home, from Christmas trees to walls and windows. You can even use the snowflakes as coasters or join them together to make a festive tablecloth or a doily.

  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):
st. - stitch
sp. - space
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

4hdc puff - 4 half double crochet puff stitch - (Yarn over, insert your hook into indicated stitch, yarn over, pull the yarn through the stitch)* repeat 4 times. Now you should have 9 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all 9 loops.

ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into first ch made (into 3rd ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

ch7picot - ch7, insert your hook into first ch made (into 7th ch from hook), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

Crochet Round Coaster/Motif - Free Pattern

This time i have an easy Round Coaster/Motif crochet pattern to share with you.
It's suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic crochet stitches. These can be used individually as coasters or joined together to create tablecloths, tops, dresses, etc.

Written Pattern:

Size: The coaster measures approx. 15 cm (5.9 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate


Materials Used:


  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn. 10 grams (30 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet


    ch3picot ch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch made), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

    Instructions:

    Square Picot Coaster Crochet Pattern

    Today i am sharing the Square Picot Coaster crochet pattern with you. This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook. You can go up in yarn and hook size to crochet a bigger coaster.

    Size: The coaster measures approx. 13 x 13 cm (5.1 x 5.1 inches).

    Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.




    Materials Used:

    • Fingering yarn, size 1 - super fine. I used Alize Bella Batik Design 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 1815. 10 grams (36 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
    • 3mm crochet hook.
    • Scissors.
    • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

    Abbreviations (US terms):

    st. - stitch
    ch - chain
    sl st. - slip stitch
    sc - single crochet
    hdc - half double crochet
    dc - double crochet
