Granny's Picots Square Coaster Crochet Pattern



Hi Everyone! 😊

Today I am sharing the Granny's Picots Square Coaster crochet pattern with you. The coasters are worked in the round with top side always facing throughout. 
These can be used individually as coasters or joined together to create tablecloths, blankets, tops, dresses, etc. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Written Pattern:


Size: The coaster measures approx. 13 x 13 cm (5.1 x 5.1 inches).

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate.




Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Drops Safran 100% cotton yarn. 10 grams (32 metres approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet

3hdc puff (hdc3tog) - 3 half double crochet closed together - (Yarn over, insert your hook into indicated stitch, yarn over, pull the yarn through the stitch)* repeat 3 times. Now you should have 7 loops on hook. Yarn over and pull the yarn through all 7 loops.  

ch3picot ch3, insert your hook into the center of the base stitch (or, insert the hook into first ch made), yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.





Instructions:


Start with ch4, sl st. into first ch to form a ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc into ring, ch3,
(3dc into ring, ch3)* repeat 3 times.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.



Round 2: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next corner ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), (2dc, ch3, 3dc) into same ch3 space, ch1,
(skip next 3 sts, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next corner ch3 space, ch1)* repeat 3 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 3: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next corner ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), (2dc, ch3, 3dc) into same ch3 space, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3dc into next ch1 space, ch1,
(skip next 3 sts, (3dc, ch3, 3dc) into next corner ch3 space, ch1, skip next 3 sts, 3dc into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 3 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Round 4: sl st. into next 2 sts, sl st. into next corner ch3 space, ch3 (counts as 1dc), (2dc, ch3, 3dc) into same ch3 space, ch1, (skip next 3 sts, 3dc into next ch1 space, ch1)* repeat 2 times,

Round 5: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., 1dc into each of next 2 sts, (2sc, ch3, 2sc) into next corner ch3 space,
((1sc into each of next 3 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space)* repeat 3 times, 1sc into each of next 3 sts, (2sc, ch3, 2sc) into next corner ch3 space)* repeat 3 times around,
(1sc into each of next 3 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space)* repeat 3 times.
Join with a sl st. into first sc st. at the beginning of round.

Round 6: sl st. into next st., ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 3hdc puff into same st., ch1, skip next st., 3hdc puff into next st., ch1, skip next st., (3hdc puff, ch3, 3hdc puff) into next corner ch3 space, ch1,
((skip next st., 3hdc puff into next st., ch1)* repeat 9 times, (3hdc puff, ch3, 3hdc puff) into next corner ch3 space, ch1)* repeat 3 times around,
(skip next st., 3hdc puff into next st., ch1)* repeat 7 times.
Join with a sl st. into first 3hdc puff st. at the beginning of round.


Round 7: sl st. into next ch1 space, ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 2sc into same ch1 space, ch3picot, 2sc into next ch1 space, ch3picot, (2sc, ch3picot, 2sc, ch3picot, 2sc, ch3picot, 1sc) into next corner ch3 space,
((2sc into next ch1 space, ch3picot)* repeat 10 times, (2sc, ch3picot, 2sc, ch3picot, 2sc, ch3picot, 1sc) into next corner ch3 space)* repeat 3 times around,
(2sc into next ch1 space, ch3picot)* repeat 8 times.
Join with a sl st. into first sc st. at the beginning of round.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Delicate Lace Doily - Free Crochet Pattern



Hello Everyone! πŸ˜‰
Today i'm here to share my Delicate Lace Doily chrochet pattern with you.
It's made in 18 rounds using sport weight mercerised cotton yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook. You can go up in yarn and hook size to make a bigger doily.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 36 cm
(14.1 inches) in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight mercerized cotton yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Alize Bahar mercerised 100% cotton yarn in the colorway 01 (cream). 57 grams (149 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.


Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

dc2(3)tog – 2(3) double crochet closed together - (yarn over, insert the hook into indicated ch space, yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 2(3) times. Now you have 3(4) loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 3(4) loops.

trc5(6)tog  5(6) treble crochet closed together - (yarn over twice, insert the hook into next st., yarn over and draw up a loop. Yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook, yarn over and pull through 2 loops on hook)* repeat 5(6) times. Now you have 6(7) loops on hook. Yarn over and pull through all 6(7) loops.

Instructions:


Start with ch6, sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) ring.

Round 1: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 15dc into ring.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3. (16 sts)

Round 2: ch5 (counts as 1dc + ch2), 
(1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch5.

Round 3: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into same st.,ch2,
(skip next ch2, 2dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.


Round 4: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 1dc into next st., ch2,
(skip next ch2, 1dc into each of next 2 sts, ch2)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.

Filet Crochet Rectangular Table Runner - Free Pattern

Today I have a Rectangle Table Runner crochet pattern to share with you. The pattern uses basic crochet stitches and is worked in rows (back and forth). All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice.

Written Pattern

Size: The table runner measures approx. 29 cm x 63 cm (11.4 in x 24.8 in).

You can adjust the length of the table runner by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
1 pattern repeat - Rows 4 - 10 - approx 7.5 cm (2.95 in).
Just make sure you end with an odd numbered pattern repeat! I made 7 pattern repeats.
You can adjust the width of the table runner by adding or subtracting chain stitches in a multiple of 28 + 10.

Skill Level: Easy to Intermediate

Gauge: 11 stitches x 4.5 rows = 5cm x 5cm (2 in x 2 in) in double crochet.

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in the colorway 11243 (yellow). 90 grams (270 meters approx) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.5mm (US size E4) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st./sts - stitch / stitches
    ch - chain
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet

    ch3picot - ch3, insert your hook into 3rd ch from hook, yarn over, pull through all loops on the hook.

    ()* - repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.

    Pattern Notes:
    • Beginning (turning) ch2 and ch3 count as 1dc stitches.
    • In Rows 2 - 53 work last dc stitch into 2nd ch of beginning (turning) ch2.

    Foundation chain: ch66  (multiple of 28 + 10)
    28 x 2 + 10 = 66

    Row 1 (right side): 1dc into 3rd ch from hook, 1dc into each ch st. across.
    (65 sts, including ch2 at the beginning of the round)

    Row 2 (wrong side): ch2, turn, skip first st., 1dc into each of next 2 sts, 
    (ch1, skip next st., 1dc into next st.)* repeat 30 times across,
    1dc into each of last 2 sts.

    Row 4: ch2, turn, skip first st., 1dc into each of next 2 sts,

    Row 11 - 52: repeat Rows 4 - 10 6 more times.

    Row 53: ch2, turn, skip first st., 1dc into each st., 1dc into each ch1 space. 
    (65 sts)
    Do not cut off the yarn!


    Edging:

    First edge:

    Round 1: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), turn, 1sc into first st.,
    (ch4, skip next 3 sts, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 16 times across.

    Round 2: ch3 (counts as 1dc), turn,
    (1dc into next ch4 space, ch3, ch3picot, 3dc around 1dc post)* repeat 16 times across,
    1dc into last sc st.
    Cut off the yarn, fasten off.



    Second edge:
    With the wrong side facing up, join the yarn to the first st. of opposite end.

    Round 1: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into first st.,
    (ch4, skip next 3 sts, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 16 times across.

    Round 2: ch3 (counts as 1dc), turn,
    (1dc into next ch4 space, ch3, ch3picot, 3dc around 1dc post)* repeat 16 times across,
    1dc into last sc st.
    Cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in all ends.

    Easy Little Doily Crochet Pattern

    I have got an easy Little Doily crochet pattern for you today. It's worked up in 12 rounds using sport weight mercerised 100% cotton yarn and a 3 mm crochet hook.
    If you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go.
