Simple Round Doily - Free Crochet Pattern

I have a Simple Round Doily crochet pattern for you today. It's suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic stitches. All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice.

Written Pattern:

Size: The doily measures approximately 27 cm (10,6'') in diameter.

Skill Level: Easy.

Materials Used:
  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine. I used Madame Tricote Paris Camilla mercerised cotton yarn. 30 grams ( 75 meters approx.) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3mm crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

Abbreviations (US terms):

st./sts - stitch / stitches
ch - chain
sl st. - slip stitch
sc - single crochet
hdc - half double crochet
dc - double crochet
trc - treble crochet

( )*- repeat the instructions between the brackets the number of times indicated.



Instructions:

Start with ch5, join with a sl st. into first ch to form a ring. Or, you can make a magic (adjustable) loop.


Round 1: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 15dc into ring.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.  (16 sts)

Round 2: ch5 (counts as 1dc + ch2),
(1dc into next st., ch2)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch5.

Round 3: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 2dc into next ch2 space,
(1dc into next st., 2dc into next ch2 space)* repeat 15 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.  (48 sts)

Round 4: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st., ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next st.,
(ch3, skip next st., 1sc into next st., ch5, skip 3 sts, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1hdc into first sc.

Round 5: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch1 + 1hdc) space of previous round, (6dc, ch1, 6dc) into next ch5 space,
(1sc into next ch3 space, (6dc, ch1, 6dc) into next ch5 space)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Round 6: ch8 (counts as 1trc + ch4), 1trc into same st., ch4, skip 6 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch4,
(skip 6 sts, (1trc, ch4, 1trc) into next st., ch4, skip 6 sts, 1sc into next ch1 space, ch4)* repeat 7 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 4th ch of beginning ch8.

Round 7: ch3 (counts as 1dc), 4dc into next ch4 space,
(1dc into next st., 4dc into next ch4 space)* repeat 23 times around.
Join with a sl st. into 3rd ch of beginning ch3.  (120 sts)

Round 8: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into same st.,
(ch4, skip 2 sts, 1sc into next st.)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 9: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch1 + 1dc) space of previous round,
(ch4, 1sc into next ch4 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch1 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 10: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch1 + 1dc) space of previous round,
(ch5, 1sc into next ch4 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 11: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1dc) space of previous round,
(ch5, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1dc into first sc.

Round 12: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1dc) space of previous round,
(ch6, 1sc into next ch5 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 13: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1trc) space of previous round,
(ch6, 1sc into next ch6 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch2 + 1trc into first sc.


Round 14: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch2 + 1trc) space of previous round,
(ch7, 1sc into next ch6 space)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with ch3 + 1trc into first sc.

Round 15: ch1 (doesn't count as a st.), 1sc into that same (ch3 + 1trc) space of previous round, ch7,
(1sc into next ch7 space, ch7)* repeat 39 times around.
Join with a sl st. into first sc.

Ch1, cut off the yarn, fasten off and weave in the ends.

Granny Stitch Doily Placemat Crochet Pattern

I have an easy Granny Stitch Doily Placemat crochet pattern for you today. It's made in 15 rounds using sport weight mercerised cotton yarn and a 3mm crochet hook.
This pattern suitable for beginners who are familiar with the basic stitches. All you need to start is a crochet hook and some yarn or thread in the color of your choice.

Easy & Quick Crochet Doily Coaster Pattern


Hi Everyone!πŸ™‚
I have an Easy & Quick Doily Coaster crochet pattern for you today.
This pattern is a nice project for your table or as a gift for any occasion. It is made in only 6 rounds using sport weight (#2) cotton yarn and a 3mm crochet hook. you can crochet in the round and know how to work the basic crochet stitches, you are good to go. All you need to start is some yarn or thread in the color of your choice and a crochet hook.

Crochet Chevron Stitch Table Runner - Free Pattern



Hello Everyone! πŸ™‚
Today I have a Chevron Stitch Rectangle Table Runner crochet pattern to share with you. The pattern uses 2 basic crochet stitches (chain and double crochet) and is worked in rows (back and forth). The chevron stitch is sometimes also called the zig zag stitch, it cosists of repeating V shapes which creates a zig zag border. It's also a great pattern for blankets, rugs and scarves.

Written Pattern

Size: The table runner measures approx. 29 cm x 68 cm (11.4'' x 26.8'').

You can adjust the length of the table runner by adding or subtracting pattern repeats.
1 pattern repeat - Rows 5 - 10 - approx 8,5 cm (3,4''). I made a total of 7 pattern repeats.

You can adjust the width of the table runner by adding or subtracting chain stitches in a multiple of 16 + 3.


Skill Level: Easy

Gauge: 6 stitches = 2,5 cm (1'') in double crochet.

Materials Used:

  • Sport weight yarn, size 2 - fine I used Nako Fiore 25% linen, 35% cotton, 40% bamboo viscose yarn in the colorway 11238. 90 grams (270 meters approx) of yarn needed for this pattern.
  • 3.5mm (US size E4) crochet hook.
  • Scissors.
  • Yarn needle or Latch hook for weaving in ends. Or, you can use a crochet hook.

  • Abbreviations (US terms):

    st./sts - stitch / stitches
    ch - chain
    sc - single crochet
    dc - double crochet

    Row 47: ch3 (counts as 1dc), turn, [1dc into next ch1 space, 1dc into next st.]* repeat 2 times,
